NO MORE BABY STEPS

Showing up for your biz doesn't mean doing a random post here & there. It doesn't only mean working feverishly behind the scenes to get stuff done. It also means appearing on camera, building sound 1:1 relationships with your followers which ultimately turns them into fans & clients!

Here are 5 things you can do to start showing up for your biz online:

1. Start a Blog: It's the way I got my start. After an assignment from my Digital Marketing lecturer I created "Paula J's Marketing Blog". Starting a blog is a great way to get comfortable sharing your opinions openly and build a body of work!

2. Start a podcast: Similar to a blog, but you're taking it one step further by letting your audience HEAR you! You will begin to get more comfortable sharing your opinions openly but on another level. Podcasting is fun....some of you may know one of my many past podcasts like "Pick a Side with Paula"

3. Share a video: Whether you want to start a YouTube channel, do a Tik Tok or share an IGTV vid, it's about time you showed up on the camera. I know how nerve-wracking this can be but all the things you're thinking about in your head, no one is thinking that about you appearing on camera. In fact, your followers are more likely to admire you because they tend to think "Wow, she's so brave. I wish I was like her"....while you're in front the camera thinking you look horrible.

4. Go live: I promise you it's nothing like you think....and when you start a live it becomes intoxicating.... you'll probably end up staying on longer than you should, interacting with whoever shows up. Now about who shows up....whether 0, 10 or 100 persons tune in to your live, you continue on!

5. DMing your followers: You're probably thinking "Oh that's easy, why is it #5?" Have you ever DM'd your clients a video of you offering them a special deal? Have you sent them a welcome message ON VIDEO? Trust me, it sets you apart from the rest. You may think "they will say I'm crazy" when they're really thinking "Wow, this is so cool!"
